The Challenge

A patented deflection elbow solving a constant problem for plant engineers: wear, blowouts, and material degradation in pneumatic conveying lines. Proven product, serious customer list. The website wasn’t keeping up. It needed to speak to engineers who know what they’re looking for and have no time for a site that makes them work.

My Role

Full website design and WordPress development. 3D product render, color palette refresh, typography update. Discovery through launch.

Discovery and Creative Brief

Time spent understanding the business, the audience, and what the existing site was getting wrong before anything was designed. That work became a brief that answered every design question before it came up.

Wireframes and Information Architecture

Structure before style. Content and navigation mapped out first to make sure the site worked for a technical audience before anything visual was applied.

Design and Prototyping

Designed in Figma across desktop and mobile, then prototyped so the client could navigate the full experience before development started. The subtle curves throughout the site — section dividers, layout shapes, background elements — deliberately echo the geometry of pneumatic conveying lines. The design does what the product does.

A photo of an industrial elbow fitting isn’t going to stop anyone mid-scroll. A custom 3D render will. Sourced and art directed for the homepage hero — immediate engineering credibility photography couldn’t have achieved.

The hardest part of the project and a non-negotiable for the client. A custom ROI and quote tool built in Airtable with conditional logic and multiple variables. Multiple rounds to get right. Worth every one of them.

Detailed specs, organized Figma files, thorough pre-launch review. Every detail checked against the design before anything went live.

Full Website Presentation

The finished site was presented with a full walkthrough covering design decisions, quote tool functionality, mobile experience, and next steps. The presentation was as considered as the site itself.

The Outcome

A site that looks and feels as engineered as the product it represents. The quote tool converts. The 3D hero stops the scroll. And plant engineers who land on it actually find what they came for.
